Oslo World Music Festival presents music from big cities around the world, where hybrid expressions and underground cultures arise. Stars like Paco de Lucia, Khaled, Amadou & Mariam and Mari Boine have visited the festival, but most of the artists are new acquaintances to the broad Norwegian audience. The festival is organised and promoted by Concerts Norway, and takes place annually the first week of November.
