Odd_Lund

Odd Sylvarnes Lund plays the traditional Norwegian herder´s instruments lur (long horn), bukkehorn (ram´s horn), munnharpe (jaw harp), seljefløyte (willow flute), and beinfløyte (bone flute). He has performed in more than fifteen countries as well as throughout Norway. In addition to his solo concerts, Odd is a teacher at The Norwegian State Academy of Music in Oslo, where he has concentrated on researching older folk music instruments. Odd Lund performs at conventions and conferences, at banquets and parties, at concerts and at traditional folk music festivals. He appears in either bunad (festive costume), traditional wool pants and leather vest, or complete Viking costume.
