The band Geitungen plays music from Rogaland and the surrounding area.
The members of the band also compose new fiddle tunes. Their musical idiom is playful and well-coordinated, and has clearly drawn inspiration from folk music groups in the rest of Scandinavia. The members of the group are Vidar S. B. Skrede on Hardanger fiddle, fiddle and guitar, Olav Christer Rossebø on fiddle, mandola and guitar, and Håvard Ims on two-row accordion.
